In the current economic environment, organisations of all shapes and sizes need to become more focused and efficient – and this means changing to meet the needs of a new climate.
But change isn’t easy, particularly when that means changing ways of working that have grown up over decades.
HOW helps you assess how your organisation works, identifies how you would like it to work, and provides you with an action plan on what you need to get there. It’s a cost effective method of understanding where your strengths and weaknesses lie and establishing priority areas for brand strategy, employee engagement, and communications.
Creating your unique HOW profile
Based on our experience of working with over 300 companies and developed with an HR expert, HOW analyses your organisation through questions in 4 key areas – your relationship with audiences, how you make decisions, how you manage people, and how you think about the future. There are two stages involved:
• An employee survey using an online questionnaire to assess employees’ views of your organisation’s character and ways of working – a current reality check
• A management workshop using a set of HOW cards and facilitation techniques to identify the type of organisation you want to be
The results are analysed to create a unique HOW personality profile and reveal insights into employee behaviours and underlying ways of working.
What HOW delivers
• A gap analysis of where your organisation is and where it needs to be in the future
• A series of recommendations that highlight specific attributes of your organisation’s culture that can be immediately acted on
• An action plan on how to capitalise on the strengths of your personality, and address the weaknesses
How is a valuable and effective tool for helping your organisation through change. It can be used to inform a range of organisational initiatives from corporate and brand strategy development, employee engagement and communications strategy.
