IHG is one of the world’s leading hotel companies with well-known brands including Holiday Inn, InterContinental Hotels and Crowne Plaza.
Following our development of the corporate brand, they had a vision to create ‘Great hotels guests love’. We worked with IHG to translate this vision into an inspiring and motivating people brand, designed to work across all their hotel brands and all their markets – a workforce of approximately 70,000 people.
The idea centred on the fact that, as an employee at IHG, you would have ‘Room to be yourself’. This brand thought was then developed into a visual style and new tone of voice that was used across both recruitment ads and internal communications.
The result was hugely successful and led to IHG winning Employer Brand of the Year at the Personnel Today Awards.
