Colt is a major business IT services company, working with large corporates, SMEs, mid-sized corporates, and public sector organisations across Europe. As the telecoms industry matured Colt needed to reposition as a network, communications and service provider, which required a step change in the way it was perceived externally, as well as internal perceptions as to how they ‘do business’.

Our Business to People insight showed that internal and external customers needed to be treated in a joined up way. It also revealed the need to appeal to a diverse customer base, rather than just those with a focus on corporate financial telecoms connectivity. We were able therefore to establish a proposition based on service delivery, centered on outstanding customer service for the end-user and the commitment of the workforce.

Colt has been able to engineer a unified brand around a shared view of its staff and a diverse customer base. They have benefited from a repositioning of brand and culture change along with a set of tools and visual identity that connects these together.
